Jinta Yadomi

Jinta Yadomi is the protagonist of the anime Anohana. He’s a teenager who is withdrawn and doesn’t have many friends. But he has a special ability – he can see the ghost of his friend Menma. Menma died tragically and Jinta feels guilty. He wants to help her move on and grant her final wish.

Jinta is a kind and caring person. He’s motivated by his guilt and his desire to help Menma. He’s also a little bit lost, which makes him relatable and sympathetic.

As a child, he was energetic and outgoing. On top of that, he was a natural leader. However, his whole demeanor changed after the deaths of Menma and his mother.

Meiko Honma

Meiko Honma, also known as “Menma,” is a young girl who died in an accident and appears as a ghost to her former friends.
As a ghost, Meiko appears as she did when she was alive, with long, straight black hair and brown eyes. She is kind and caring and is often shown with a gentle smile on her face. She is also determined and strong-willed and is dedicated to helping her friends resolve their problems and move on from the pain of her death.

Despite being a ghost, Meiko is able to interact with the physical world and is able to communicate with her friends, and help them in various ways.

Atsumu Matsuyuki

Atsumu is a popular, outgoing student at Anohama Academy. He is tall and handsome, with a strong physique. Atsumu is athletic and excels at everything he tries. He is the captain of the basketball team and is also a top student. Atsumu comes from a wealthy family and is used to getting what he wants.

He is easily agitated by anyone who mentions Menma because he believes he is responsible for her death. Moreover, he’s tormented by the fact that Menma only appears to Jintan.

Chiriko Tsurumi

Chiriko is a member of the “Super Peace Busters,” a group of childhood friends who are brought back together after the death of their friend Meiko Honma, also known as “Menma.”

Chiriko is depicted as a serious and stoic individual who is often seen with a blank expression on her face. She is intelligent and academically successful and is known for her calm and collected demeanor. Despite her quiet and reserved nature, Chiriko is also fiercely loyal to her friends and is willing to do whatever it takes to help them.

In terms of appearance, Chiriko has long, straight black hair that she typically wears pulled back in a ponytail, and she has dark, expressive eyes. She is often shown wearing her school uniform, which consists of a white blouse and a navy blue skirt.

Tetsudo Hisakawa
