Kanade
Kanade’s emotionless facade hides her intelligence and resourcefulness. Even though she engages in combat and often gets injured, she rarely exhibits any response or signs of pain. Her stoicism and ability to create complex defensive mechanisms through a program called Angel Player led others to mistake her for an angelic being.
That said, beneath this impenetrable shell is a lover of Mapo Tofu who cherishes gardening and struggles with the transient nature of friendships. She ultimately bonds with Otonashi, revealing bits of her true persona as they grow closer. The strange mix of seeming clumsiness yet profound endurance earns her the nickname “Clumsy Angel.”
Yuri
Yuri, known as “Yurippe” by most of her comrades, is a charismatic and respected leader within the SSS. She is determined and stays composed in stressful situations. On top of that, she is very intelligent and can think on her feet. She can be a tad arrogant when things go her way but treats all members with respect, acknowledging their individual strengths.
Her unflinching willingness to sacrifice for the greater good highlights her leadership qualities. Although aware that death isn’t permanent in their world, she carries a heavy burden when it comes to ensuring everyone’s safety. Lastly, she hates nattō.
Iwasawa
Iwasawa is often silent. That said, she has a talent for expressing her thoughts and feelings through captivating music. Her striking pink-red hair and red eyes contrast with her usual attire: the SSS uniform, worn unconventionally with sleeves rolled to her elbows, black sweatbands, and calf-high boots.
She had built walls around herself due to harmful gossip in the past but has begun lowering them after finding kindness in Yuri and Hisako. Despite occasional stubbornness, Iwasawa’s innocent personality emerges as she bonds with Hisako.
Yui
Yui has vivid pink hair and magenta eyes. Simply put, she is a beacon of vibrancy and energy. She is also an intelligent and flirtatious girl who often interacts with the world excitedly. Her uniform is identical to other girls: short enough to reveal her tummy, complemented by crossed black ribbons on her knees and black boots. She has handcuffs as accessories on her wrists and sports wings hidden behind her hair.
Yui wears her emotions on her “demon tail”- a detail that’s seen twitching when she feels happy or emotional. She deeply admires Hisako for her ‘murderous’ guitar rift. Her lively personality bears no suspicion of the paralysis that had confined her since childhood.

Otonashi
Otonashi is a tormented soul, with an earlier life marred by gloom and thoughts of suicide. He found solace in seclusion, choosing the company of video games and television over friendship or studies. Most of his life was consumed by work and procuring manga for his sister.
