Satou Yoh

Satou, an average-built freshman with black hair and light brown eyes, is often seen in his school uniform, frequently adorned with bandages from bento brawls. His casual attire is usually a white top layered under another. Personality-wise, Satou oscillates between clumsiness and bravery.

Constantly misinterpreted as a pervert due to unfortunate incidents, he embarrassingly owns a stash of saucy magazines gifted by his classmates. A determined “wolf” in the Half-Priced Food Lovers Club, Satou’s fighting prowess has improved rapidly since his first bento brawl allowing him to combat other formidable wolves single-handedly. He also possesses an unusually rapid healing rate after staking out at bento brawls.

Ume Shiraume

Ume, a wealthy schoolgirl with long dark hair and blue eyes, is soft-spoken and serene around her friend Hana. Her fierce protectiveness unveils an angrier side against Satou, whom she perceives as a bad influence on Hana.

Ume’s protective nature sometimes leads to physical confrontations with Satou or attempts to keep Hana away from him. Behind this fiery demeanor, however, lies an understanding individual who accepts her own limitations. After losing a bento brawl while defending Hana, Ume exhibits remarkable humility by asking Satou to protect her friend instead.

Hana Oshiroi

Hana, a petite brown-haired girl, is often seen with her glasses and bag which houses her laptop. With an excitable personality, she relishes the unexpected actions of her friend Yoh Satou. Despite being bullied in the past, her friendships with Satou and Yarizui have helped build her confidence.

Her love for writing novels shines through as she observes and playfully renames those around her, a habit halted by Satou’s gentle hair-pulling reminders whenever it gets out of hand. Her childhood friend Ume Shiraume has a strangely possessive relationship with Hana. She lacks combat skills but proves herself cunning by tactically snatching bento in brawls unnoticed, though fails occasionally.

Ayame Shaga

Ayame, with wild blond hair and glasses, is an impressive combatant known as ‘Beauty by the Lake’ thanks to her swift reflexes and speed. She skillfully wields chopsticks in brawls but her real strength lies in playing Sega games, where she’s nearly unbeatable.

Ayame is renowned for being affectionate yet stubborn, often playfully flirting with her friend Satou. Despite their rivalry, she gets excited about the prospect of a fight with Sen Yarizui. Her stubborn streak shows when she feels ignored or insulted.

Yuu Kaneshiro

Yuu is a former Wolf. He has brown hair and brown eyes and is often described as an exceptionally kind and helpful individual. He has gained immense respect for his brawling skills in Bento Brawls, earning him the title ‘Wizard’. His prowess was so notable that simply his presence discouraged others from chasing after half-price bentos.

Once acting as Sen’s protector without her knowledge of the world of Bento Brawls, he later introduced her to this competitive realm and became her tutor. After a strategic battle against Kiku Matsuba, Yuu exhaustedly passed out on a street after eating his hard-earned bento, marking a memorable moment in his career.
