Kyojuro

Kyojuro is a tall and lean-muscular young man. He has radiant yellow hair streaked with red. He has an aura of boundless optimism and striking charisma. He is seen wearing his distinctive Demon Slayer uniform topped with a flame-patterned haori.

His heartfelt respect for family was evident in his concern for his increasingly distant father and encouragement towards his younger brother, Senjuro. Beneath his cheerfully eccentric demeanor hides a tactical genius. Kyojuro can quickly discern talent in others while maintaining unwavering faith in their potential. Despite harboring a deep disdain for demons due to their vile deeds, he acknowledged Nezuko as an ally after she risked her life to protect innocents.

Tanjiro

Tanjiro is a compassionate person with gentle eyes. He is a beacon of fierce determination on his quest to find a cure for his sister Nezuko. Although he is strong, he isn’t too prideful to ask for help when necessary. His sincere, honest nature contrasts with an inner fire fueled by vengeance.

However, he can show empathy even to demons. That said, he stands resolute in delivering justice to those who’ve committed evil acts. As a demon post-transformation, Tanjiro attacks mindlessly but doesn’t harm Nezuko even after tasting her blood.

Zenitsu

Zenitsu is a timid and anxious Demon Slayer. He is often fraught with fear due to the constant peril of his job. He has low self-esteem regardless of his considerable strength. He tends to belittle himself and seeks solace in the illusion of a normal life. He carries around guilt over his perceived weaknesses but respects and admires his comrades deeply.

Zenitsu also has tendencies of a hopeless romantic due to the fear of dying single, although this habit annoys most women he interacts with. He occasionally displays level-headedness during frustrating scenarios involving urban naivety from Tanjiro and Inosuke. Upon learning about his master’s death, Zenitsu exhibits an unexpected turn toward seriousness and determination.

Nezuko

Nezuko was once a loving and selfless sister. But, she has been transformed into a demon. However, while the transformation resulted in her loss of some human memories and emotions, she retains her protective instincts towards humans whom she sees as family.

She is guided by subconscious imprinting and strong willpower. Moreover, Nezuko fiercely defends her allies and resists the urge to consume human flesh or blood. Her extraordinary growth rate allows her to quickly overcome adversaries. This former caring girl now fights fearlessly, yet she retains fragments of humanity that manifest as empathy towards others.

Inosuke

Inosuke is a proud, short-tempered young man with an extremely toned physique and a surprisingly feminine face. As he was raised by boars, he lacks an understanding of basic human interaction and treats everyone as a potential adversary. His drive for recognition often plunges him into unnecessary dangers due to his overestimated combat ability.

In spite of his confrontational attitude, Inosuke possesses a strong sense of vengeance and loyalty toward his friends. Throughout the show, he learns to appreciate kindness and friendship through interactions with Tanjiro and Zenitsu. His attire embodies his unique style with a modified Demon Slayer uniform and carved-out boar’s head mask.
