What Makes Dimension W Special?

In the future, the world‘s energy needs are met by a limitless energy source found in another dimension, called “Dimension W.” However, illegal use of Dimension W‘s energy has created powerful and dangerous devices called “Coils.”

To combat this threat, a special agency called “The Organization“ employs people with the ability to tap into Dimension W, called “Collectors.” One such Collector is a man named Kyoma, who is cynical and has a “whatever it takes“ attitude when it comes to getting the job done. Kyouma Mabuchi

Kyōma is a rough-mannered, sardonic, and somewhat anti-social character with an affinity for the past, often seen in vintage clothes and classic cars. His anti-establishment attitude is reflected in his animosity towards coils. With sharp black hair and eyes, Kyōma is always ready for battle.

Tanned skin and a vertical scar in the middle of his lower lip hint at a history of conflict. Despite appearing unapproachable, he has soft spots particularly for children and his older sister Tsubaki Azumaya. He is known for his strong fighting abilities and strategic mind but can be impulsively protective over his former comrades in Grendel.

Mira Yurizaki

Mira, the android with a complete set of brain components, embodies the unique juxtaposition between machine and human. Her personality encapsulates that of a young woman. She is peppy, kind and emotional with a dash of fashion sense. Though she’s intelligent about technical matters, her naivety can show at times.

Being both idealistic and realistic, Mira demonstrates fierce loyalty toward those she respects while maintaining a preference for non-violence unless necessary. She sometimes struggles with social interactions due to limited exposure to society and is bad at lying. As her dual ring coil evolves, Mira’s behavior mirrors more human-like responses including jealousy and fear, even leading to physical manifestations such as overheating.

Shido Yurizaki

Dr. Shidou Yurizaki is the heartbroken, brilliant, and reclusive former CEO of New Tesla Energy. This kindhearted man was forced into a life of paranoia and solitude after his family was ruthlessly killed by the Dimension Administration Investigation Bureau (DAB), who sought to steal his research.

Filled with love for his surviving “daughter” Mira and burning disdain for the agency that shattered his world, Shidou resorted to death as his only retreat when cornered by the DAB. Despite this tragedy, he continues to shape Mira’s destiny from beyond the grave through mysterious spectral appearances linked with a critical coil.

Koorogi

Koorogi, a dark-skinned young adult with cascading purple hair and an ever-present smug smile, is known for his unique fashion sense. He often sports a cricket-head helmet, coral vest over a turquoise shirt, baggy grey pants and two keyboards uniquely tethered to his outfit with rope.

His look is completed by white headphones, dark gloves, twin bracelets on his wrist and a light-purple sweater tied around his waist. On rare occasions, he swaps this ensemble for a sharp tuxedo and ties his hair back in a ponytail. This quick-witted individual takes pride in his inventive expertise, exhibiting particularly high regard for Four – the android he not only repaired but enhanced.
