Kenji Harima

Harima, a former delinquent turned high school student, splits his time between unrequited love for Tenma Tsukamoto and nurturing his promising manga career. Despite a lack of formal training, Harima’s street-fighting abilities rival that of disciplined martial artists.

Yakumo is a graceful, demure, and diligent girl who assumes the traditional role of a caregiver in her family without complaint. She excels in sports, academics, cooking, sewing and even creates manga. Her gentle nature never lets anger or frustration show.

Yakumo works as a waitress at Cafe Mercado and has an unusual ability to hear the thoughts of people who are romantically interested in her. Except for Kenji Harima who she develops feelings for. She embodies attributes of an ideal wife for her shyness and mannerism combined with resourcefulness.

Ooji Karasuma

Sporting short black hair and eyes, Karasuma adopts a typical schoolboy look in uniform, although you might find him in casual attire outside of school premises. Known also as “Torimaru”, he emanates an aura of mystery. Multitalented, he stands as the guitarist in his band besides displaying excellent skills in bicycle racing and card games.

Eri Sawachika

Eri, the child of a British father and Japanese mother, is a quick-learner known for her athleticism and academic achievements. Idolized by her classmates, Eri exudes external calm but internally struggles with feelings of pride, jealousy, and insecurity. Living in material comfort but emotionally isolated due to her father’s frequent absences, she yearns for deeper connections with those around her.

Despite occasionally feeling jealous or spurned by friends like Mikoto and Yakumo, Eri’s loyalty always shines through. She is often misunderstood because of her beauty and talents. But, all Eri wants is someone who sees past the exterior to truly understand who she is inside.

Mikoto Suo

Mikoto is an attractive teenage girl known for her unusually large breasts. Her bubbly personality conceals a fighter’s spirit.
