Story of Mashle

Mashle is set in a world where magic is a common thing. It is casually used by everyone, except a boy deep inside a dark forest. His name is Mash Burnedead and he can’t use magic.

He wants to live a simple and quiet life, but when people find out he can’t use magic he becomes a target. Somehow he gets enrolled in Easton Magic Academy, a school for magic. He sets out to become a Divine Visionary and go back to his ordinary life.

Mash Burnedead

Mash Burnedead is the main character of the series. He is a first-year student at the Easton Magic Academy. He wants to have a peaceful life with the goal of becoming a Divine Visionary.

Mash had a rough childhood. He was abandoned as a child because he didn’t have a mark that indicates he can use magic. He was found by Regro Burnedead who raised him as his own son. They lived near a big city in hiding where Regro taught him self-defense.

He is a quiet and kind young man. This can change at a moment’s notice if he sees someone hurting his family or friends. Growing up in solitude led him to be very innocent and obedient to others around him.

Lance Crown

Lance Crown is the second most important character in Mashle. He is a first-year student who is always seen wearing the usual Easton Magic Academy Uniform. He is slim and tall. Moreover, he is described as having very long legs. His hair is short and light blue, while his eyes are cyan-colored.

As a child, he was a very kind and caring person. He stood up for anyone who was being mistreated even if that meant getting into fights. He wants to become a Divine Visionary to protect his sister from being taken by the Bureau of Magic. Lance has an overwhelming fear of bugs and ghosts.

Dot Barrett

Dot’s spiky red hair and red-brown eyes speak volumes about his personality. He is hot-blooded and obnoxious. He has a huge ego and acts as if he was the most important person alive. He hates “hot guys” and feels the need to do better than others.

However, this is just a facade he presents to the world. On the inside, he is a nice guy who admits his mistakes. It doesn’t take a lot for Dot to fall for someone and he gets very sensitive if he is rejected.

Lemon Irvine

Lemon is an eccentric first-year student at Easton Magic Academy. She has an enormous heart that is incapable of hurting others. She gets scared easily and has a tendency to blow things out of proportion.

Her blonde hair is of medium length with an orange ribbon. Lemon’s eyes are the color of amber, and her mark is set under her right eye. It is straight with a half-moon curve.
