Langa

Langa is usually laconic and stoic. But, he becomes intensely determined when it comes to skateboarding or snowboarding. Using his 15 years of snowboarding experience as a foundation, he becomes an agile skateboarder who pulls off gravity-defying stunts with aplomb. However, he often grapples with foreign Japanese customs and etiquette.

Away from the track, Langa is motivated by shouldering financial responsibilities following his father’s death. That showcases his gritty determination and hardworking ethos. His friendship with fellow skater Reki truly fuels his passion for the board. This bond rekindles his joy in skateboarding even during challenging times.

Reki

Reki is a laid-back high schooler. He is passionate about skateboarding and creative outlets such as drawing. He’s well-liked for his outgoing personality but tends to be lazy academically, only doing the necessary minimum.

Reki struggles with self-esteem issues and insecurity, especially in comparison to his naturally talented friends’ abilities. His fear of being left behind leads him on a path of self-destruction. Ultimately, he finds the strength to address his shortcomings by realizing his ability and the fact his friends matter to him.

Kojiro

Joe comes across as an irresistible womanizer. That can be seen in his frequent attempts at charming and bantering with multiple women. He shares deep trust while maintaining a playful rivalry with Cherry Blossom. Joe’s nurturing side is reflected through his bond with Kaoru, whom he assiduously protects.

Also, he has a fatherly relationship with the younger boys like Reki and Langa Hasegawa. He offers them valuable advice and encouragement. Miya

As his skateboarding skills increased friends abandoned him, leading him to shield his vulnerabilities.

He tentatively accepts Reki and Langa’s companionship along with Shadow’s loyalty. Miya’s favorite school subject is Math, his special ability is talking to cats, and his favorite food is fish.
